Removed existing deck on the front side of the house and hauled away all the debris. Installed prefab piers onto cement to accommodate the joists. Installed 4 x 6 pressure-treated beams or better. Installed new 2 x 6 joists on hangers, 16"oc. with new 1" x 6" Trex Accent Decking. All Trex Decking have 1/4" gaps between boards and 1/8 inch gap at the butt ends. Removed the siding of one wall approximately 335 ft.² and install new siding with our nineteen installation. Apply one coat of Behr premium plus before installation. Removed and replaced existing custom door, additional costs may apply.

Installed new pressure treated posts for hand rails. Installed Trex Transcend decking and installed Trex hand Rail system. Hand rails include post sleeves, post base collars and post caps. I have used Best Rate Repair three times now. This job was building an 18x20 foot second story deck including the stairs off a home. I wanted the deck to be strictly solid as I have grandchildren that will be using this deck. The railing needed to be totally safe. The lumber for the support was Douglas fir and treated wood were of good quality, no splits. The decking, stairs and railing was Trex, using Trex post sleeves over a more solid post of treated 4X4 wood. The deck was built better than what the city approved plans specified. Workmanship of the deck was very good. The few problems incurred were handled professionally and intelligently. Even the small details were handled professionally. The workers were experienced and very thoughtful. Every day the work was cleaned up much better than I would have expected or required. The job was handled in accordance in every respect with my Homeowners Association requirements. The job started and finished on time with no change in the contract price with the city signing off at completion. The owners of Best Rate Repair made numerous appearances to check on the work and answered all questions my wife asked. I would use them again, absolutely.
